SUGAR-FREE CHOCOLATE COOKIES

This awesome recipe is courtesy of Tanith from the beautiful blog She Loves Eating! Who doesn't love some healthy homemade chocolate cookies? We certainly do! Especially when it gets colder outside – there's nothing better than cuddling up on the couch with a good book or movie, sipping on hot chocolate and munching delicious cookies. And the best part: You don't need any fancy or complicated ingredients to make these! Let's get started!

SUGAR-FREE CHOCOLATE COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons Chocolate Lover Mix
  • 1 1/2 cup of oats
  • 4 medjool dates
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

    DIRECTIONS:

    • Preheat the oven to 360°F.
    • In a bowl combine the oats with the cinnamon and cacao powder.
    • Mash the bananas with a fork and chop the medjool dates with a knife.
    • Add the mashed banana and chopped medjool dates to the oats (and optional rice syrup) and knead with your hands.
    • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
    • With your hands form cookies and place them on the tray.
    • Bake them for 15-20 minutes – the longer you leave them in the more crispy they will get.
    • Enjoy!

    SUPER TIP: Add some chopped nuts or vegan chocolate chips for even more deliciousness!
